We rely on environmentally friendly packaging materials. Of course, we have to adhere to strict quality guidelines for food packaging and cannot avoid a small amount of aluminum, but we have reduced it to the bare minimum. Our packaging consists of a composite of plastic and aluminum. We need aluminum as a barrier layer to prevent atmospheric oxygen and hydrogen from reaching our crunchy fruit. Plastic is needed because aluminum is not allowed to come into direct contact with the fruit and to seal the bags and cans.
